The Benton Art Gallery features pastel paintings. Strictly Earnest also produces calendars, greeting cards, post cards and bookmarks. Ernie has a special interest African-American history and has produced a series of paintings of such notables as Malcolm X, Billie Holiday and W.C Handy. primary medium is watercolor paints, although occasionally she incorporates soft pastels or acrylics to create the look she wants. Her watercolor prints can be found in many fine gift stores and Hawaiian galleries.
